Giro di Sicilia 2026 Biking Tour

IN SICILY · MAY 17–23, 2026

Giro di Sicilia 2026 Biking Tour is the main event of the Sicily Cycling Club’s season.
We will take you to some of the most beautiful places and roads in Sicily. We always have a Spring and a Fall Camp. In Spring 2026 we will take you to some of the most scenic locations on the Island. Alcantara, Etna, Taormina, Siracusa and Noto!

We have a deep knowledge of the Sicilian lifestyle and culture. Our cycling guides will take care of all your needs and, we will enjoy it all together. You will meet other people with the same passion for the bike you have. Nothing can connect souls like cycling together and sharing the same effort.

TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

Sicily is a dream destination for cyclists, known not just for the iconic Mount Etna but for its countless scenic routes. Besides Etna, there are a lot of areas that you cannot miss. Culture and breathtaking landscapes are always part of our trips. It’s all about cycling, but not just about cycling. We will take you to the most beautiful and hidden roads in Sicily, and in the meantime, you will discover lovely places like Taormina, Noto, and Ortigia (Siracusa).

Cycling in Sicily is both challenging and rewarding. Flat roads are rare here, so be prepared to embrace the climbs. But don’t stress about your speed—just soak in the incredible views and enjoy the ride!

This year, we have carefully chosen two unique locations for your cycling adventure. The first is our local ClubHouse in Alcantara Valley, nestled between Etna and Taormina. The second is a little Resort immersed in a beautiful lemon tree garden close to Noto, just a few minutes walk to the most incredible beach you have ever seen.

Both properties have been selected to offer an authentic Sicilian experience, seamlessly blending cycling with the island’s rich culture. Our goal is to immerse you in the true essence of Sicily, both on and off the bike.

After each ride, you can relax and refresh with a swim in the inviting pool—a perfect way to unwind and recharge.

There are riches and mysteries galore in the Sicilian history from the ancient Greeks to the Normans. This migration of different cultures has given Sicily its own special character. Riding here you will experience all these different historical and cultural layers that Sicily consists of, from the beaches to the beautiful Baroc cities to the churches and castles and the distinct kind of warmth and humor of the Sicilian people.

Sicilian food is contradictory, just like the Sicilian culture. It is an odd mixture of Italian, Greek, Arab, French, Spanish, and North African. Its dinner plates are living odes to the number of peoples that have conquered, colonized, settled, ruled, and emigrated here. The vegetables and fruit grown here are known as some of the best in all of Europe and the fish from the ocean is a story of its own. Food is very important to Sicilians and they always talk about it.

CYCLING FOR A GOOD CAUSE

Sicily Cycling Club, thanks to our friend Bill Devany, since 2022 has started to help kids in Ethiopia through our Partner Let Us Change and has raised more than $100.000 for a good cause.

Let Us Change was founded in 2009 by Ethiopian Aynalem Wolde Amanuel and Leuven (Belgium) resident Johan Vandenbossche. Today the organization provides a home and future for children in Ethiopia. The Ethiopian NGO does this through care and education for almost 100 former street children in 3 homes, and support for 40 families through jobs, basic services and medical assistance.

The children are no longer defined by their past, but grew into empowered, strong children and young adults, with a promising future ahead.
Let Us Change grew thanks to the effort of local management and staff, and the support of many volunteers, sympathizers and partner organizations in Belgium, the Netherlands, the USA, Australia and Italy.

You can choose to help Kids in Ethiopia by raising at least €250 on top of the price of the Camp, receive a special Scc Let Us Change Gadget and, have a big smile from the kids!

I booked a guided ride with Sicily Cycling Club. My guide Peppe arrived with a great Cervelo bike and took me on an epic climb. Peppe was encouraging and made really good conversation. He pushed me on the ride and in the end I was tired but really happy for the experience. The roads up to Mte Kalfa were amazing and the views from the top were worth all the work. If you want to ride in Sicily , these are the guys !!!

Great Place to hire a guide and rent a bike if you are in Sicily. Great communication and ease to deal with. I wish I had a better bike but for one day it was OK.

I visited Sicily to reignite my love of cycling. I used to cycle a lot and then cycling was overtaken by the mamil’s with their expensive bikes. I found Tommaso and the Sicily Cycling Club through a friend and booked a 3 day tour. Well I am pleased to say that my love of cycling is firmly back thanks to Antonio and Luca who took me on some amazing trips around Catania. The care and attention and support they gave me on what were very hot days and the kind of terrain I haven’t cycled for many years was incredible. They were extremely nice guys as well. Tommaso organised my trip brilliantly including booking a really great little B&B (Epitome) in central Catania. So I want to thank the guys for making it such a special trip and showing me the natural delights of Sicily, the amazing architecture and incredible food and coffee!! I will be back for sure to conquer Etna this time. I had to turn back half way up due to my general lack of training but I will do it next time with their support. Thanks so much guys.

We had perfect bikes (carbon frame, rim brakes and top gears) for our exciting tour to Etna. The organization in advance with Tommaso was great. Danilo set up the bikes perfectly for us on site. Thank you for the top service!

Excellent experience with Sicily Cycling club. They were flexible to my changing plans to deliver the bike to Taormina and pick up from Siracusa. I m new to riding in Sicily and I have got ton of guidance on routes and roads from Tommaso. Vincenzo was super helpful setting up the bike to my specifications (seat, pedals, gadgets etc). Bike didn’t disappoint too. I would recommend buying routes from them instead of using strava or kamoot. The roads you take really make a difference and they know best cycling friendly routes. I used their Siracusa- Ragusa-Modica -Noto route and it was exceptional off traffic roads. I couldn’t be happier.

We just finished Sicily Cycling Club’s magical 600+ mile 9 day Cycling for Change Giro Di Sicilia. It was an amazing journey up in the mountains and down along the beaches around the entire island.

A heartfelt thanks to Tommaso and his crackerjack team who planned an incredible tour and took first-rate care of us. The route and scenery were quite different each of the nine days, and made all the more memorable because of our hosts impressive insider’s knowledge of the local history, with stops at off the beaten path, yet highly worthwhile, sites to along the way.

Each nite we were treated to all that Sicily has to offer in the way of unique cuisine – with a great dinner and lovely (mostly) boutique hotels.

If you’re looking to cycle in Sicily – these are the folks you want to show you around!
