GENERAL TERMS
Sicily Cycling Club reserves the right to make changes to the travel program including the use of other hotels. Changes do not warrant compensation.
The registration is only valid and binding once the deposit is received. You will, of course, receive a confirmation after we have registered your amount.
Approx. 8-9 weeks before the departure of the trip, an information letter will be sent containing practical information about the journey as well as the collection of the balance.
If the balance is not paid in due time, Sicily Cycling Club will consider the trip as canceled and the customer loses the deposit paid earlier.
Customers that have transferred a deposit and then announces a cancellation, will lose the deposit. If you cancel your order after you have transferred the balance, Sicily Cycling Club reserves the right to retain the full price of the trip. We will do our utmost to financially compensate the Customer if possible.
In case of force majeure - War, War danger, strike, nature catastrophe, epidemics, economic crash etc. in which situation it is impossible to complete the cycling camp, Sicily Cycling Club reserves the right to retain the expenses already incurred by the customers. If such circumstances occur on a commencement of travel, the travel participant must cover the costs already incurred as well as the expenses for the stay, home transport, etc.
A complaint should be presented to the personal of Sicily Cycling Club during the cycling camp and must be made in writing (e-mail, letter, etc.) and must be received by Sicily Cycling Club latest 10 days after the Cycling Camp.
In the unlikely event that a customer has an accident, It is the Customers insurance that covers (Personal injury, damage to the bike, etc.). Theft of baggage including bikes must also be covered by the Customers own insurance. Sicily Cycling Club has no insurance cover for the Customers included in any Bike camps.
OPEN CYCLING CAMPS
SCC reserve the right to cancel a Cycling Camp whose participation is too low. In case of cancellation, a written notice will be given immediately and no later than 40 days before departure, and full refund of what the Customer has paid to Sicily Cycling Club. If the customer chooses to come anyway Sicily Cycling Club will offer the same service as in the camp but add 200 euros to the original camp price.
