Typical Camp Dynamics
At Sicily Cycling Club we always say that it is so easy to connect with people while sharing the same effort. During every Cycling Camp, we have noticed that every group of cyclists has always had the same dynamics.
On the first day, everyone is trying to know who is the strongest (maybe pushing over his limits on the first climb of the week). The job of our guides is not easy at the beginning. Because cyclists are riding as individuals. But is after the second day that everything changes.
Stronger cyclists start to take care of the rest of the group. The Aperitivo time is the moment when everyone is relaxing. Slow (or smart) Cyclists start offering Spritz and Beers to the strong ones to thank them for their help on the road. Dinner is not the time to eat but the moment when everyone is excited to talk about the next day. The last evening of the camp is the “sad” time when our guests start to understand that the magic week is over. On the other end, they are ready to plan a new adventure.
